HELIOS EDUCATION FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

Partial tuition and/or books scholarship to first generation in college students who are Florida residents. To qualify, applicants must come from a family where neither parent has earned a bachelor’s degree or if the applicant regularly resides with only one parent who provides the majority of support, that one parent must not have completed a bachelor’s degree. In order to apply for the scholarship, applicants must have submitted the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applicants must be a high school graduate with a 2.0 or better grade point average at graduation or earned a GED to qualify for this scholarship. Applicants who have previously been enrolled in college must also have both a cumulative and semester grade point average of 2.0 or better. First priority of funding shall be given to first generation in college students majoring in Education at Chipola College.
