FLORIDA BLUE NURSING AND ALLIED HEALTH SCHOLARSHIP

Partial tuition and/or book scholarship available to applicants that must be accepted and enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a nursing or allied health program of study (Nursing Assistant, Practical Nurse, Associate Degree Nurse, Baccalaureate Degree Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic) at Chipola College. Scholarship funds do not cover prerequisite classes for Nursing of Allied Health programs. Students must have applied for Federal Pell Grant (FAFSA) in order to qualify. The primary focus of the scholarship is to attract students from population segments that are under-represented into the nursing workforce. The term under-represented refers to students of low socio-economic status. Applicants must be a high school graduate with a 2.0 or better grade point average at graduation or earned a GED to qualify for this scholarship. Applicants who have previously been enrolled in college must also have both a cumulative and semester grade point average of 2.0 or better.
