JUDGE ROY L. ROULHAC, J.Y. AND GEHAZEL ROLACK SCHOLARSHIP – (Administered by the Upsilon Alpha Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.)

Partial tuition and/or books scholarship to an African American Jackson County student who is a graduating high school senior or currently enrolled at Chipola College.  Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA or 2.5 Chipola College GPA. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, financial need, and a sincere desire to persevere with integrity. A look back at the past is best way to guide us into the future.  Applicants are asked to look back into their family lineage and create an ancestry tree based on their own family.  A five hundred word essay detailing their findings and what they learned about their family lineage is required, two letters of recommendation from a school official, church leader, community leader, or an Upsilon Alpha Alpha Omega Psi Phi Brother; an official high school or college transcript with registrar’s seal; a completed Scholarship Application and Certification Form (available in Chipola College Foundation) with original signatures, and a clear photo of the applicant. One-half of scholarship will be awarded during the first semester and one-half during the second semester, provided a 2.5 GPA is maintained.
