MARIANNA OPTIMIST CLUB FIRST RESPONDER SCHOLARSHIP
Partial tuition and/or books scholarship to applicant enrolling in the Chipola College Law Enforcement Academy, Firefighting Academy or Emergency Medical Technician program, must be a resident of Jackson County, must be of good moral character, applicant must complete application process and pass background check for the program of study, an applicant’s financial need will be a heavy consideration and applicant must outline his/her need and the reason they wish to enter their chosen program in the applicant’s scholarship letter, selected applicants will be interviewed by the scholarship committee, the recipient must accept the scholarship at an Optimist Club meeting, and follow standard college requirements.
