HAYES CHAFIN MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP-NORTH FLORIDA CHIPOLA SPAT FISHERS
Partial tuition and/or books scholarship to a current year high school graduate and resident of Jackson County. Applicant must have a minimum high school grade point average of 2.0, must maintain a 2.0 grade point average each semester while enrolled at Chipola, must follow standard college requirements, and must have demonstrated commitment to caring for the environment’s natural resources within the applicant’s personal, educational, and/or professional time. Applicant must also submit a minimum 250-word essay about Jackson County’s natural resources and outline their appreciation for hunting, fishing, or other aspects of the outdoors and explain how these things have had a positive influence in achieving personal and professional goals. Scholarship committee will consider applicant’s academic achievement, educational goals, and extracurricular activities.
